Description

Mc Bond Ready Mixed Wall covering Adhesive is a PVA based product, which has been specially, formulated for use with luxury vinyl (both paper and fabric backed), textiles, Hessians, polystyrene tiles, polystyrene coving and polystyrene veneers. It is recommended for use with Contour, Tiles & Textures, Coloroll, Terrazza&Decorweave, Venilla, Rolatile, Mayfair, Murelle, Harlequin and Vinaglypta.

Application

Stir well before use and apply undiluted, by brush, roller or finely notched spatula, direct to surface, which is to be prepared. Assuming that the surfaces are properly prepared then adhesive usage is as follows:
Heavy – non-woven and woven fabric backed vinyls to all normal surfaces. Woven fabric backed vinyl’s to new plasterboard surfaces.
Always use in accordance with the wall covering manufactures instructions. Always seal container tightly after use.

 

Surface Preparation

Surfaces should be sound, dry, clean and free from damp, dust, grease and mould. Porous surfAces such as plaster and floated work should be primed with Primer/Sealer in the ratio of 1 part primer to 3 parts water and allowed to dry for + 5 Hours.

Very porous surfaces such as new plaster, concrete, gypsum board, plaster board, chipboard and block should be sealed with undiluted Primer/Sealer and allowed to dry for + 5 Hours. Low or Non-absorbent surfaces should be roughened to form a key.

Heavy – approximately 5 square meters per kilo

 

Cleaning

Avoid getting Adhesive on decorative surfaces. Any accidental splashes should be removed immediately with a clean, damp cloth or sponge. Tools and equipment should be cleaned with water immediately after use. Wash hands with soap and water after use.

 

Storage

Protect against frost. Adhesive should be stored and applied in temperatures above 10oC (500F), Do not use below this temperature.

 

Health and Safety

Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with water. Remove splashes from skin with soap and water. This adhesive contains fungicides to protect against mould growth and should be kept away from children and animals.
